The Coral Identification course will allow you to better understand one of the most important and fascinating ecosystems on the planet.

CORAL IDENTIFICATION It is a specialism designed for those who want to stop seeing the reef as a mere landscape and start to understand everything that happens within it.
You will learn to distinguish between different types of corals, to recognise their main characteristics and understand how they relate to other marine species.
You will also learn about the threats affecting reefs, such as pollution or certain human practices, and discover how you can help protect them.
Upon finishing, you will dive with a different perspective. more informed, more aware and much more attentive to the life around you.

SSI does not require prior certification to perform Coral Identification.
How long does the course last?
