During the COURSE you will carry out 5 ADVENTURE DIVES that will allow you explore different environments and skills.
You will work on fundamental aspects such as buoyancy, underwater navigation and deep diving, while experiencing things that go beyond basic diving.
Additionally, you will complete the course with an immersion in pecio (Boreas, Palamós) and a night dive, two completely different scenarios that will help you discover new sensations and to understand what kind of experiences truly motivate you.
This approach allows you not only to improve as a diver but also to make better decisions about your future: Which specialities to pursue, which areas to delve deeper into, and how to continue evolving.

5 Extremely Complete Adventure Dives
The course is organised into 2 main rounds of training, where you will do 4 dives, and one Night dive in Badalona, which we do once a week.
If you cannot attend the evening class in the same week as the course, You'll be able to do it another day with one of our scheduled groups., ...so that you can complete your training with more flexibility.
DAY 1
Buoyancy and navigation in Badalona
9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
📍 Badalona, at our centre
The first day we will carry out dos of the Plongées clés du cours Advanced Open Water Diver in Badalona.
We will work on the Buoyancy, to improve your control, comfort, and efficiency underwater, and the Underwater navigation, there you will learn to orient yourself better using natural references and a compass.
These two dives will help you gain more confidence, precision, and autonomy as a diver.
DAY 2
Depth and Wreck in Palamós
9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Palamós
The second day We will travel to Palamós to carry out dos of the the most special dives of the course.
First you will do the Deep dive, to adapt to the sensations of descending to greater depths and to gain confidence before the next dive.
Afterwards you will carry out the immersion in the Pecio Boreas, located around the 30 metres, so you can live it with more control and focus more on enjoying your surroundings.
It's a day designed to expand your resources as a diver and experience more complete, varied, and exciting diving.

The fifth dive of the course will be the nocturnal, a very special experience that we do once a week in Badalona.
If it suits you, you'll be able to do it in the same week as the course.

It's a different, peaceful, and surprising immersion, in which You will discover a completely different way of seeing the sea.

To take the Advanced Open Water course, you need to:
* Be a certified Open Water Diver (or equivalent).
* Be at least 15 years old.
* Have completed the PADI Adventure in Diving (or equivalent) course. (This is covered in the Advanced Open Water course itself, so if you don't have it, you'll do it as part of the Advanced course).
To complete the Advanced Open Water course, you need to have the certification Open Water Diver or a recognised equivalent.
This is the next step in recreational training and is designed for divers who already have an initial foundation and want to continue gaining experience, confidence, and ease underwater.
How many dives are carried out during the course?
The course includes 5 adventure dives:

- Each one is designed to help you continue evolving as a diver and have very different diving experiences from each other.
How is the course organised?
The course takes place on 2 main training sessions and one Additional night dive.
On the first day you will do Buoyancy and navigation in Badalona.
On the second day you will do depth and wreck in Palamós.
The fifth dive will be the night in Badalona, which we programme once a week.
Does the night immersion have to be done in the same week?
Not necessarily.
If it suits you, you can do the night shift in the same week as the course. If not, you can join another scheduled night of another week to complete your certification with more flexibility.
Do I need a lot of experience to take the Advanced?
You don't need to have much experience beyond your Open Water certification.
The course is designed precisely to help you continue gaining confidence, expand your resources as a diver, and become accustomed to more varied and complete dives.
With Advanced certification, you will be able to dive to a depth of 30 metres.
With the Advanced Open Water Diver certification, you will be able to dive to a depth of 30 metres.
Beyond the limit, the important thing is that during the course you will learn to navigate deeper dives with more confidence and ease.
Is the equipment included?
Yes, the course includes the Full necessary equipment to carry out the dives.
If you already have some of your own equipment, you can ask us if you'd like to use it during the course.
What happens if I haven't dived in a while?
In many cases you'll be able to complete the course without a problem, but it will depend on your current comfort level and how long it has been since you last dived.
If it's been a while since you've been in the water, it's best to consult with us first to assess whether it's advisable to do some preliminary adaptation or start directly with the course.
Where are the course dives conducted?
The Advanced dives are conducted at Badalona and in Palamós.
In Badalona you will work on buoyancy, navigation and night diving.
In Palamós, you will undertake the deep dive and the wreck dive.
Why is the deep dive done first and then the wreck?
Why the price takes place in depth, and we'd prefer that you have a first contact with that sensation in a specific depth dive.
This way, you reach the wreck with more adaptation, more safety and greater ability to focus on truly enjoying the experience.
